Black Forest farm in Breitnau

Rutscherhof is located in Breitnau near Hinterzarten in the heart of the Upper Black Forest and in the picturesque surroundings of the Bruckbachtal valley.

The typical Black Forest farm, tucked away on a remote south-facing slope 960 m above sea level is surrounded by meadows, forests with thriving habitats and little streams.

Provision for our younger guests includes a playground, a small fleet of children’s vehicles, sledges, table tennis, a trampoline and plenty of room for romping about and exploring.

The organic farm with a granary dating back to the year 1671, an old smithy and the small mill house is managed as a mountain farm with mother cows and various small farm animals, as is customary in the Black Forest.

Rural charm, the absence of through traffic and the unspoilt natural countryside enhance the experience of relaxing on the terrace, the lawn for sunbathing or the barbecue site.
